The service was quick and friendly. But let's get to the most important part… the food! Absolutely delicious. The restaurant focuses on fresh and local food and making everything in-house and you can tell… Sharing the charcuterie board is a must. The wild boar is amazing. I ordered the Tagliatelle Con Vongole (fresh clams and shallots in white wine) and my fiance ordered the Osso Bucco (braised veal shank preserved lemon gremolata fried bone marrow). So fresh. So tasty. Melts in your mouth. And leaves you wanting more despite being super stuffed! End off the dinner with the Chocolate Trio dessert and you're good to go! We order from Hot Oven once a week. This pizza is deep dish. You get a huge amount of toppings for the money unlike the chain pizza places. All the toppings are fresh and you can taste the difference immediately. Even the crust is good with the honey glaze. I usually don't eat the crust edges from the chain stores but when I get Hot Oven I have to eat it all. It's that good. Do yourself a favor and support the little guy who still cares about quality! I can't bring myself to order from pizza chains anymore since we discovered this place. Only thing I'd like to see is a seafood pizza on the menu. I recommend the Orient duck pizza, Hot Oven Select or Tropic Thunder (if you like spicy). Read more

Tried this place out with my mom for her Birthday dinner and we both enjoyed our meals. Nice drink combinations too. Came back with a friend and a Groupon, but I made a mistake about reading the fine print amd they were sincerely gracious when I was paying the bill. It was appreciated. That was an even better meal then the last one for me! The desserts make me want to stop by there randomly just to eat a treat on occasion. Will go back again for sure. Read more
